CHANGING CHILDREN’S SERVICES IN MIDLOTHIAN Children’s Services Database 
The Midlothian Children’s Services database holds information on organisations and agencies which work with children and young people from birth to age eighteen years. Specifically the database holds information on those services that are provided through a process of referral. The database has been designed to help the user identify which service providers have the capacity to meet the support requirements of a particular child or young person. The user-friendly sites will enable the user to search using drop down menus, together with the familiar simple google-search facilities, with the Childrens’ Services Database having the added option of searching using multiple criteria. The subsequent search results are easily navigated and readily printed. The Childrens’ Services Database site also offers the user the option to save the information in Excel format, allowing for use offline and providing greater flexibility.
