Concessionary Travel Scheme - Young People
The Scotland-wide Concessionary Travel Scheme for young people started on Monday 8 January 2007. It allows all Midlothian 16-18 year olds and full-time volunteers up to 25 years old to enjoy discounted travel on buses and trains.

Taxicard Scheme
The Council operates a Taxicard Scheme which gives concessionary travel on taxis for mobility impaired people in Midlothian. The Taxicard scheme is aimed at Midlothian residents who are unable to travel on local bus services.
