Where properties are served by a communal recycling collection service from 01 October 2012 the way we collect your recycling is changing.

BLUE lidded bin
Collection of paper and cardboard
Collection of paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, tins and cans, foil, cartons, plastic pots, tubs, punnets and trays
YELLOW lidded bin
Collection of plastic bottles
How to recycle your waste:

Remove film lids or food tray liners from plastic trays or pots (these are not suitable for recycling)

Rinse food and drink packaging clean

Ensure foil and foil containers are not contaminated by food residue

Ensure aerosol cans are empty before recycling

Flatten cardboard boxes and squash plastic bottles to save space (you can replace plastic bottle lids)

Place items directly into your communal recycling bin for collection - do not use plastic bags
Please note:

We cannot accept plastic carrier bags.

We cannot accept polystyrene, or polythene such as bread bags or frozen pea bags.

Do not use your recycling bin/s for general household refuse.
