Midlothian's NMMS is set in the wonderfully restored Lady Victoria Colliery at Newtongrange.
The Mining Museum is a five star visitor attraction housing the story of coal for Scotland and was winner of the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions Best Visitor Experience 2009.
