Bookbug sessions, held in all libraries across Midlothian, are fun, free, friendly sessions for parents, grandparent and carers along with their child, aged birth to 4.
Bookbug sessions incorporate books, rhymes and songs with sessions lasting around 30 minutes.
Bookbug Sessions also act as a great way to meet others in your area.
An extension of the Bookbug Programme, Bookbug Sessions complement the gifting of the packs by highlighting Bookbug's message in a fun and engaging way.
For further information on any aspect of the Bookbug Programme please contact the Early Years Literacy & Bookbug Coordinator at Library HQ,
