Organised activities for young people

What we provide

We run many activities throughout Midlothian in order to promote the development of young people.

Projects and locations

We carry out youth and children's work across Midlothian, mainly through clubs, drop-in facilities, youth cafes and outreach programmes.

Key purpose

The key purpose of youth work in Midlothian is to work with young people to aid their personal, social and educational development.

This enables them to gain a voice, place and influence in society during their transition from dependence to independence.

We aim to provide activities for young people that are relevant to their needs as individuals and members of their communities.

Range of activities

We offer a wide range of learning opportunities throughout Midlothian and encourage young people of all ages and backgrounds to participate.

We offer many groups, courses and activities for children and young people, such as:

  • Badminton
  • Boxing
  • Drama
  • Guitar Workshops
  • Mountain Biking
  • Pavement Art
  • Skiing.
