Goods and services over £50,000

All our contract opportunities are advertised on the Public Contracts Scotland website (PCS). This is a national portal which is provided by the Scottish Government, and is designed to allow all businesses access to public sector contracts.

We encourage all interested suppliers to register their details with PCS, where they will benefit from email notifications of contract opportunities that may be of interest. The portal is a free service.

Contract opportunities will also be advertised on the Official Journal of the European Union website (OJEU) where the contract value exceeds OJEU Thresholds:

• £173,934 - Goods and Services contracts
• £4,348,350 - Works contracts

Goods and services below £50,000

We may invite quotations from 3 organisations without openly advertising the opportunity where we have identified a requirement for goods and services where the contact value is less than £50,000.

Quick Quotes (PCS)

Quick Quote is an online request for quotation facility. It is used to obtain competitive quotes for low value/low risk procurement exercises or procurement mini competitions within framework agreements from suppliers who are registered on the website.

Only suppliers which have registered separately on PCS portal for Quick Quotes can be invited to quote. It is free to register for this service.
