About Midlothian

Less than 10 miles south of Edinburgh city centre and with a population of around 85,000 people, Midlothian is steeped in history with diverse historical buildings and picturesque villages, and is attracting new developments, both residential and commercial, with a particular concentration of expertise in science and life sciences in particular.

It is one of 32 councils of Scotland.
