Outreach Service for complex additional support needs
How is the support reviewed?
The service supports the school in reviewing each child's Individual Educational Plan (IEP) with:
- School staff
- The support team
- Child/young person
- Any other professionals involved in support
Children, young people and parents are actively involved in reviewing and planning their target. Parents receive a copy of the learning targets set out in the Individual Educational Plan (IEP). It is usually through this review that decisions are made about the role of the service and the involvement of any other services or partner agencies.
