About additional support needs for learning

When a child or young person experiences barriers to their learning, for whatever reasons, they may have additional support needs and will receive appropriate support to overcome these barriers and be successful in their learning.

This commitment is underpinned by the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act.
