Emergency repairs

Who do I contact if I need an emergency repair?

For emergency repairs call the number below. This number is answered 24 hours a day. Please be patient if we are busy particularly out with normal office hours.

What is an emergency repair?

These are repairs which put the health, safety or security of you or others at immediate risk or which affects or is likely to adversely affect the structure of the building.

Typical examples:

Toilet cisterns or tank overflows running, Overflowing drains and toilets, Roof leaks or falling slates/tiles, No heating, No power except when no supply, No water except when no mains supply, Doors or windows cannot be secured, Large cracks opening up in walls or masonry becoming loose, Floors sinking.

Access

It is important that we get access to carry out any repairs and would ask that you stay in your home or make sure there is a responsible adult (over 16 years) who will wait until someone comes, provided this does not put you at risk.

We will normally attend within a few hours and aim to have carried out the repair within 24 hours of it being reported except in the case of serious damage or when specialist work is required when we carry out a temporary repair.
