Agreement on the appointment of a new joint head of education, working for both Midlothian and East Lothian Councils
Midlothian and East Lothian Councils have agreed to sharing education and children's services on a phased basis.
The councils of both local authorities decided today (Tuesday 22nd November) to appoint a joint head of education to work across both areas.
