Our Community Learning and Development team have launched a free course for anyone interested in developing their group leadership skills.
The free, 8-week course will take place at Newbattle Community Learning Centre in Newtongrange from 7-9pm on Monday evenings, starting from 6 February.
The course will cover a range of topics over the 8-week period, with a focus on equipping people with the skills needed to effectively plan and structure group activities. Course participants will study how and why groups work, and how to ensure that all group members feel welcome and participate.
