Anyone who pays their Council Tax or Housing Rent on time each month is included in a prize draw for holiday vouchers worth £2,000.
The aim of the annual prize draw is to encourage people in Midlothian to pay their Council Tax or Housing Rent on time - the easiest way to achieve this is to pay by Direct Debit.
This is also the most cost-effective way to pay as, by maximising collection of tax and revenue, administration costs for the Council are greatly reduced, leaving more money to spend directly on much-needed Council services.
