Primary 6 and 7 pupils from schools across Midlothian are getting set for a mile long run in aid of Sport Relief.

The event at Vogrie Country Park on Tuesday 20 March is organised by Midlothian Council's Active Schools Team.

Around 300 pupils are expected to take part in the event which aims to encourage youngsters to enjoy running.  Each will be wearing red to raise awareness of Sport Relief.  The runners will be cheered on by 'Jog Scottie', the Jog Scotland mascot.
