Council Election is all about numbers

We've issued a short film on our YouTube site to highlight how the voting system works.

The Scottish local government elections in 2012 are using the "Single Transferable Vote System" (STV), a voting system based on proportional representation.

Single Transferable Vote means you rank candidates in order of preference, using numbers.

Please don't use a cross, as your ballot may have to be disqualified if you do.
