Tickets still available for Midlothian Schools Big Band gig with Dennis Rollins’ Velocity Trio

There are still some tickets remaining for the Midlothian Schools Big Band gig with Dennis Rollins’ Velocity Trio later this month – and we’re urging jazz lovers to book fast before they all sell out.

Dennis Rollins, one of the UK's best known jazz musicians, is visiting Loanhead with his Velocity Trio for a very special gig at Loanhead Miners' Welfare Club at 7.30pm on Wednesday 30 May.

He'll be supported on the night by the Midlothian Schools Big Band, which is made up of around 25 highly talented pupils from secondary schools across Midlothian.

The Schools Big Band is supported by our Instrumental Music Service and their members are well used to the spotlight, having previously performed at high profile venues including Edinburgh's Usher Hall and at the recent Music for Youth Festival in Perth.
