We've been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Scottish Home Awards 2012.
Our Social Housing Programme has reached the final stage in the Large Affordable Housing Development of the Year category.
The winner will be announced at the Scottish Home Awards 2012 in Glasgow on 28 June.
To date the council's £169million new build programme has seen 721 homes for families delivered in Midlothian since its inception 2006.
322 homes were completed in 2011/12 at Hopefield, Bonnyrigg; Eastfield Farm Road, Penicuik, Salters Road, Dalkeith and Academy Lane, Loanhead. A further 48 units are currently under construction at Park Road, Gorebridge and a new extra care housing facility in Penicuik.
