In just ten days time, venues across Midlothian will be opening their doors for our annual Doors Open Day on Sat 8 September.
Buildings across Scotland which are not open to the public, or which normally charge for entry, open their doors free of charge to visitors.
Over 30 venues throughout Midlothian will be participating in this year's Doors Open Day. A number of venues are taking part for the first time this year - including free DAME Craft workshops at Dalkeith Arts Centre and the chance to take an unforgettable evening bat walk around Vogrie Country Park.
New venues participating include St Mungo's Church, Penicuik Town Hall, The Lost Garden of Penicuik, Lodge Rosslyn St Clair No 606 and the Wildlife Information Centre.
