Introduction
This one day internationally recognised and respected CPD accredited health and safety awareness course produced by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). -
Course details
The course will give you a basic understanding of the essentials of health and safety. It focuses on why health and safety is important and how you can make a real difference to the well-being of yourself and others through working safely. Over the day you will cover a range of topics which include:
- Introducing working safely;
- Defining hazards and risks;
- Identifying common hazards;
- Improving safety performance.
The course material includes the IOSH training manual, a number of group based exercises and activities, You will complete a written assessment with a multiple choice element.

On successful completion
You will be awarded an IOSH ‘Working Safely’ Certificate, valid for 3 years from date of issue. -
