Health and safety training - Working Safely

Introduction

This one day internationally recognised and respected CPD accredited health and safety awareness course produced by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
Course details
The course will give you a basic understanding of the essentials of health and safety. It focuses on why health and safety is important and how you can make a real difference to the well-being of yourself and others through working safely. Over the day you will cover a range of topics which include:
- Introducing working safely;
- Defining hazards and risks;
- Identifying common hazards;
- Improving safety performance.
The course material includes the IOSH training manual, a number of group based exercises and activities, You will complete a written assessment with a multiple choice element.
On successful completion

You will be awarded an IOSH ‘Working Safely’ Certificate, valid for 3 years from date of issue.
