Health and safety training - Fire Warden Training
IntroductionThis course is aimed at key individuals who undertake specified Fire Warden duties.
The course will give you the necessary knowledge, confidence and skills to undertake your role and responsibilities as a Fire Warden. The course covers:
- Properties and classification of fire and fire behaviour;
- Fire protection and prevention;
- Safe selection and use of portable firefighting equipment;
- Duties and responsibilities of the Fire Warden;
- Practical fire extinguisher session.
The course includes handouts and a number of theoretical exercises. There is also a practical element. You will also complete a short multiple choice test to confirm understanding.
On successful completionYou will be awarded an attendance certificate, valid for 3 years.
