Introduction
This course is aimed at key individuals who undertake specified Fire Warden duties. -
Course details
The course will give you the necessary knowledge, confidence and skills to undertake your role and responsibilities as a Fire Warden. The course covers:
- Properties and classification of fire and fire behaviour;
- Fire protection and prevention;
- Safe selection and use of portable firefighting equipment;
- Duties and responsibilities of the Fire Warden;
- Practical fire extinguisher session.
The course includes handouts and a number of theoretical exercises. There is also a practical element. You will also complete a short multiple choice test to confirm understanding.

On successful completion
You will be awarded an attendance certificate, valid for 3 years. -
