Midlothian Active Travel (draft) Strategy consultation. This consultation closes on Tuesday 18 September 2018.
-
This survey will explore your views on walking and cycling in Midlothian, providing valuable data regarding local walking and cycling levels. This will help us improve active travel information, access and infrastructure, and allow us to consider what measures can be taken to increase active travel levels. The results will be used to inform the development of the strategy, due to be published in spring 2017.
The strategy will provide a framework for developing a culture of walking and cycling in Midlothian, in line with current national, regional and local policies. It will allow the council to develop its vision, set out priorities and coordinate activities in terms of walking and cycling.
