Spaces for People
Social distancing signs to encourage correct behaviours on our paths
Because more people are walking and cycling for exercise, there have been complaints and notifications that people are not socially distancing adequately on paths. To ensure that people feel safe using these paths, we propose erecting signs to remind people of the rules.
We have ordered and erected these in advance, and made provision for changing them as guidance adapts and rules change. This will ensure that people can feel safe using paths, by reminding all to follow the guidance and rules.
We are already changing them to match government guidance that has changed.
This project will cost £7279.80.
