Code Clubs

Learn how to create your own interactive stories, games, music, websites, and more!

During our Code Clubs children aged 8+ can learn all about the basics of programming by using Scratch, Python and HTML coding languages.

The classes take place on our desktop PCs but we also have a limited number of iPads in some libraries. Our young coders can also learn about the BBC micro:bit which is a small programmable computer that we use during our sessions.

• Lasswade Library: Monday, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
• Gorebridge Library: Tuesday, 4pm - 5pm
• Newbattle Library: Tuesday, 3:45pm - 4:30pm
