Who should apply?
Anyone who intends operating an animal rehoming centre in terms of The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (Scotland) Regulations 2021.

Additional costs
New applicant’s premises require assessment by a Midlothian Council appointed vet. Midlothian Council reserve the right to require a vet inspection for renewal applications when considered appropriate. Applicants are required to cover this additional cost (variable depending on premises). -
What you need to supply
Applicants must complete the application form and submit it to Environmental Health with the appropriate fee. -
