Anyone who wishes to drive a private hire car or taxi.

To renew a licence the licence holder must apply and pay for the licence at least 6 weeks before the current licence expires.

From 1 April 2026

Taxi

Private Hire Car

• Initial application - £128
• Renewal 1 year – £128
• Renewal 3 year - £226
