Kenneth Lawrie, Chief Executive

Kenneth Lawrie, Chief ExecutiveKenneth joined Midlothian Council in September 2009.

Educated at St Andrews and Strathclyde Universities, Kenneth holds an MBA and MA in Economics and has also held senior positions with Scottish Borders Council and Dartford Borough Council. 

Kenneth's priority is to ensure the effective operation of the council and to deliver high quality and efficient services to the people and communities of Midlothian. 

He is responsible for ensuring that corporate aims and objectives are met and is the main point of contact between Elected Members and Officers.
