Public exhibition about the new relocated Beeslack site
Drop-in to a public exhibition on Thursday 18 April to find out more and give your views on the proposed development of the relocated Beeslack Community High School site including facilities for pupils with severe and complex medical needs, community spaces, swimming pool and the University of Edinburgh First Opinion Practice veterinary clinic.

Come along any time from 4pm and 8pm to the existing Beeslack Community High School, Edinburgh Rd, Penicuik EH26 0QF.
Ask questions
Representatives from the professional advisors acting on behalf of Midlothian Council and the University of Edinburgh, will be on hand to answer any questions about the proposed development at Easter Bush, east and west of Seafield Moor Road, Bilston, Roslin.
Separate consultation
Please note this is what is known as a statutory pre-application consultation in advance of the submission of a planning application for this development. This is separate to the current consultation on the relocation of Beeslack Community High School and changing the associated catchments.
Exhibition boards
Exhibition boards will be on display illustrating the proposed development at the exhibition. These boards are also be available to view and comment on at the Holder Planning website.

All comments must be submitted by Thursday 25 April 2024.
Second event
A second public event is planned for May when the professional advisors will outline how they have responded to comments received at the first event.
Pre-planning application consultation
This public consultation forms part of the statutory pre-application consultation process and comments should not be made to the planning authority at this time. Any comments made in relation to the prospective application are not comments to the planning authority.
Not comments on a planning application
If a planning application is submitted to Midlothian Council as planning authority, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal.
