Mobile Library Service back on the road in time for Book Week Scotland 2024
Midlothian Council is delighted to announce the return of its Mobile Library Service, which will resume operations on a part-time basis starting today (Monday 18 November).

Available every Monday & Thursday
The Mobile Library will be available to residents every Monday and Thursday, offering a wide range of books and resources to communities across the local authority.
New Timetable

Mondays
- Arcadia Nursery 09:45 – 10:45
- Scots Corner Nursery 11:00 – 11:45
- Silverburn 12:00 – 12:30
- Auchendinny 13:30-13:55
- Rosewell Primary School 14:20- 14:50
- Burnbrae Primary School 15:00- 15:30
Thursdays
- Cousland 09:30 – 10:15
- Pathhead 10:25-12:00
- Edgehead 12:15 – 12:45
- Cranston Country Nursery 13:30-14:00
- Dewartown 14:10 – 14:30
- Temple 14:45 – 15:15
- Carrington 15:20-15:50
Book Week Scotland 2024
The service has been eagerly anticipated by residents, and the Council is pleased to once again offer this valuable resource in time for Book Week Scotland 2024, which runs from 18-24 November 2024.
