Second drop in about the A701 Relief Road and A702 Link Road

Midlothian Council is holding a second drop in where people can hear more about, and give their views on, the final proposed route for the A701 Relief Road and the A702 Link Road.

Drop in to Bilston Primary

The event is on Thursday 14 August between 4pm and 7pm at Bilston Primary School, EH25 9SD.

Planning application to be submitted

What local people tell the council could help fine tune the planning application to be submitted on the council’s behalf later this year by consultants, Wardell Armstrong.

Route options from 2021

A preferred route has been developed after local people were consulted on options in 2021.

Route selected

The route selected after the last consultation has changed slightly between Straiton junction and Seafield Moor because of the ground conditions.

Slight change

It is this final proposed route, including this change, that the council wants to hear views on.
