Roads Closed in Woodburn During Mine Water Pumping Works

 The Mining Remediation Authority is carrying out essential work to manage rising water levels in historic mine workings beneath part of Woodburn, Dalkeith.

Roads affected

To keep everyone safe while this takes place, road closures are in place for the duration of the pumping works at:

• James Lean Avenue at its junction with Newmills Road
• Woodburn Road at its junction with Lauder Road

Signs and diversions are in place (maps below):

• Woodburn Road – Woodburn Road onto Woodburn Avenue onto Primrose Crescent back to the A6106 Lauder road. Vice versa for the opposite direction.

• James Lean Avenue – James Lean Avenue onto Woodburn Drive onto Woodburn Road onto Woodburn Avenue onto Primrose Crescent back to the A6106 Lauder Road.
