Come Along and See the Proposed Designs for New Council Homes in Newtongrange
Local people are invited to a drop‑in event to pre-view the drawings that will be submitted to planning for 23 new council homes planned for the old Newtongrange pool and Church Hall sites.

These designs have developed following feedback from the Planning Authority on pre-application enquiries and from local residents who shared views on housing options at community events in 2023 and 2024.

The drop in is on:

- 4pm–7pm.
- Newtongrange Primary School Gym Hall, Sixth St, Newtongrange, Dalkeith EH22 4LB
Before being submitted for planning permission
Feel free to pop in at any time during the session to look at the plans that will soon be submitted for planning permission. This is an opportunity to see how the site could look and understand what is being proposed.
How to make formal comments
This session is for information only. If you would like to share formal comments, you will be able to do so once the planning application is submitted and available on the council’s planning portal around mid-March.
