Applications invited for Community Sports Hub funding

The Midlothian Community Sports Hub is inviting applications for micro grants of up to £500 for local projects that use sport and physical activity to improve mental health and wellbeing for people living in Midlothian.

Figures doubled

Recent figures show that the number of people in Scotland self‑reporting a long‑term mental health condition has more than doubled between 2011 and  2022.

Increasing opportunities

In response, the Hub is working in partnership with sports clubs, activity providers, local government, charities, third sector organisations and community networks to increase opportunities for residents to support their mental health through physical activity.
