Free Job Fair in Dalkeith to support Midlothian residents
Midlothian residents looking for higher paid employment, a new career opportunity or support with job applications are being invited to attend a free Job and Employability Fair in Dalkeith on Thursday 10 September 2026.
The event is taking place on Scotland’s very first National Employability Day, which promotes employability services and sustainable career pathways.
Open to all Midlothian residents
The fair will run from 10.30am to 1.30pm at St John's & Newton Church, 31 Eskbank Road, Dalkeith, EH22 1HJ. Attendance is free and open to all Midlothian residents.
A range of employers will be attending to discuss current and future job opportunities, including NHS, Lothian Buses, Little Monkeys Nursery, Busy Bees, FUSE, Neil Maclean Hair Studio, Starbucks, Care Support Scotland, HMRC, CERA Care, NatWest Bank and InPost.
Employability support available on the day
Residents will also be able to access advice and guidance from employability support organisations including Archaeology Scotland, Street League, the Department for Work and Pensions, Skills Development Scotland, Capital City Partnership and Business Gateway. Skills Development Scotland will provide live CV writing support on the day.
