Street trading

If you are setting up a food business to trade in the street, for example an ice-cream van, hot food van or stall, or mobile shop, then you are likely to need a street trading licence.

To apply for a licence you should contact Midlothian Council's licensing section.  They can advise you about the suitability of trading locations and whether planning or other permissions are required.
