Road defects

If you have spotted a defect or fault on a Midlothian road, pavement or path, such as a pothole, a broken street light or a blocked gully then please let us know.

Prior to reporting the issue, please ensure that you have sufficient information to identify the type of defect and accurately locate it.

You can report all road and street faults by telephone or online.

If your request is urgent please call Road Services during office hours (Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:00 and Friday 09:00 - 15:30). Out of office hours please contact Emergency Road Repairs on 0131 663 7211.
