Place plastic hangers in your grey general waste bin.

Metal coat hangers can be recycled in the scrap metal skip at local Recycling Centres, but they cannot go in blue kerbside bins. Plastic hangers are considered hard plastic and should be placed in your grey bin. Charity shops may accept sturdy hangers for reuse, and retailers often accept plastic hangers.
