Walk the Line

Sign up now for 3, 5 or an 8 mile walk on the Penicuik to Dalkeith walkway.
Please check weather reports for the day and wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Bring water to keep hydrated. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
To book visit your nearest library or council-run leisure centre to pick up an application form and pay the £3 fee.
Walks
8 Mile Walk
- Registration from 10:45am: Valleyfield Pond car park, Penicuik.
- Walk starts at: 11:15am.
5 Mile Walk
- Registration from 10:45am: Valleyfield Pond car park, Penicuik.
- Walk starts at: 11:15am.
- Walk finishes at Rosewell.
3 Mile Walk
- Registration from noon: Hawthornden, Cemetery Road end, Rosewell.
- Join walkers for picnic lunch at 12:30pm before setting off to Eskbank.
- Thank you to Bonnyrigg and Sherwood Community Development Trust for the picnic.
Lunch
A picnic lunch will be provided at Rosewell before finishing the walk at Edinburgh College's Eskbank Campus where there will be teas, coffees and local organisations' stalls.
