Councillors approve two senior appointments

Councillors have approved the permanent appointments of two senior council officers at today's full Council meeting.

Important roles 

Saty Kaur and David Gladwin have been permanently recruited to the posts of Midlothian Council’s Chief Officer Corporate Solutions and Chief Financial Officer & Section 95 Officer respectively.

Acting up roles previously 

Both Ms Kaur and Mr Gladwin had been acting up in those roles.

Valued senior officers

Council Leader Councillor Kelly Parry congratulated them on their appointments. She said: “We’re delighted these appointments are now permanent. Saty and David are valued senior officers whose expertise is helping deliver wide-ranging service changes for the benefit of our communities in extremely challenging times financially.”
