Councillors call for ceasefire in Israel/Gaza conflict

Midlothian councillors held a minute’s silence today for all those who have lost their lives during the Israel/Gaza conflict. 

Motion passed

At the full Council meeting, councillors passed a motion calling for, among other measures, a humanitarian ceasefire.
