Bus trial between Pathhead and Penicuik

800 community bus service

We have extended our trial bus service connecting our Midlothian communities from east to west until at least the end of March 2027.

Key locations along the route include:

• Vogrie Country Park
• Tesco, Dalkeith
• Auchendinny
• Midlothian train stations
• Midlothian Community Hospital
• Straiton Retail Park

Fares

We are introducing a ticketing system, which should be in place by late September 2026. Fares will be the same as Lothian bus services.
