Volunteer befrienders

The Connect Befriending Project is looking for more volunteer befrienders to help reduce loneliness and social isolation in the Penicuik area.

Each face to face befriending match lasts for 6 months, and people meet once a week for  1 – 2 hours. A bit of company and conversation makes the world of difference!
