  Senior pupils from Newbattle High School are helping to kick‑start a nationwide poster design competition as Midlothian prepares to welcome the Tour de France to the county in 2027.

• School Intake August 2026 – P1 & S1 placement letters

  P1 school placement letters (including out of catchment placing requests submitted before 15 March 2026) are being issued this week, as are outcome letters about S1 out of catchment requests.
