Progress on plans to invest more than £3m in Penicuik town centre

Locals will have the chance to hear how proposals to invest more than £3m in Penicuik town centre’s conservation area are progressing, at a public drop-in event planned for Tuesday 19 September.

Heritage Lottery funding

Midlothian Council, along with lead consultants Douglas Wheeler Associates and Austin-Smith:Lord, are preparing a 2nd round application to the Heritage Lottery Fund for the regeneration project. 

Come to Penicuik Town Hall between 1 and 8pm on the 19th

As part of the local consultation, residents, businesses and anyone else who is interested is invited to come along to Penicuik Town Hall on the 19th anytime between 1 and 8pm to view the exhibition and discuss progress with the team. Come along, find out what’s happening and have your say.
