Midlothian Council's Parental Employability Team are offering the following FREE family fun sessions over the summer.

Adventures in Newbattle Abbey - Wednesday 1 July

Join us for a family walk to Newbattle Abbey and learn more about its history. 

Please bring sturdy shoes and clothes for the weather, as we will be walking in the woods.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Craft a Jellyfish Dream Catcher - Wednesday 8 July

Enjoy a creative craft session, making bright patchwork jellyfish decorations to hang in the window.

This is a family friendly activity where children and adults can create together. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Rock Painting - Wednesday 22 July

EnJoin us in Croft Street Gardens in Dalkeith and get creative by painitng rocks outdoors.

Witchy, Wizard Walk in the Woods - Wednesday 29 July

Come and meet the Parental Employability Team as we go for a walk around Penicuik Woods. You will learn which trees make the best wands and for you to take home. You will also be able to make and taste your own magical brew and take home a special wellbeing crystal.  

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Remember to wear appropriate clothing for walking in the woods.
