Still time to have your say
Have you had your say on Midlothian Council’s savings proposals yet? A series of options to help the council save money is open for public consultation until Thursday, December 14.
The aim is to help meet a budget gap next year of £13.5 million, which could rise to £44million by 2021/22. Local councillors will consider responses from residents, community groups and others before they take their budget decisions in the early part of 2018.
