Foundation Apprenticeships are two year courses open to pupils in S5 and S6. They help young people gain valuable, real-world work experience and access vocational training while they're still at school.

Consider a career in childcare
By 2020, there will be many more staff needed in nurseries and other early learning settings such as childminders. This is because the number of funded hours eligible two-year-olds and all three and four-year-olds is almost doubling to 1140 hours.

We can help you prepare for the transition from school into the world of work, education or training.
Activity agreements are for 16-19-year-olds who have left school, and are not involved in education, training or volunteering.
You agree to complete a training programme based on what you want to do.
In return you will get regular help to build up your confidence, develop your key skills and your career prospects. The aim is to help you become ready for formal learning or employment.
