Team Around the Child

This is a group of services who work together to find the right support for children and their families. Professionals meet to look at referrals and decide the best help for children and families. All information is kept private and shared safely.

There are 2 groups:

  • Ages 0–12 (Early Years and Primary School)
  • Ages 12+ (High School)

  • Family support
  • Mental health support
  • School attendance
  • Parenting help
  • Relationships
  • Money advice

Who can be referred?

Families where there is a child or young person aged 0–18 and extra help is needed with things like school, wellbeing, or family life.

Any referral will only be made with your agreement, and you will know what information is being shared and why. It’s important that you know what is being shared and feel comfortable with this. Only the information needed to help find the best way forward for your family will be shared.
