Our reminiscence groups at Dalkeith, Gorebridge, Loanhead and Penicuik Libraries offer a relaxed and welcoming space to look back, chat and share memories.

Memories Scotland

Run in partnership with Memories Scotland, a national project using archive photographs, film and media to explore everyday life in Scotland, the groups provide a social history focus.

Themed resources encourage participants to reflect on how life has changed, share personal stories and celebrate the heritage of their communities, supporting memory stimulation and meaningful engagement.
