Join one of our book groups to share books, take part in lively discussion, and find new authors. Groups typically run for an hour.

Start your own group

As well as our book groups, private groups can borrow the library's book sets.

Someone in your group must register your group at the library they want to pick up/return the books.

  • This is a free service 
  • Most book sets consist of 10 copies of a particular title and where possible 1 CD talking  book 
  • Books can be borrowed for up to 6 weeks and renewed for a further period if not requested by another group.
